RED SEA HOUSING HEADS TO KHURAIS
|
|
Dhahran: Red Sea signed an
agreement with Nesma and partners
Contracting Co. Ltd. here yesterday
to provide temporary facilities at
Khurais to support the Grass-Roots
Refinery being built by Saudi Aramco.
The project includes all temporary
buildings for the Aramco Project
Management and staff. The
SR25.2 million deal consist of 700
module floors to be produced,
delivered and installed.

In other news, Red Sea submitted its
bid proposal to Snamprogetti for a
turnkey for a housing and office
complex also located in Khurais and
is due for award by July 1, 2006.
Estimated construction cost is SR69
million.

"With the
award of Nesma project, Red Sea will
be the first housing solution
provider on site in Khurais and look
to expand services at the US$8
Billion mega complex. The
project has interested international
and local contractors vying for the
several construction and facility
packages. As this
location is considered remote, the
opportunities in Khurais for Red
Sea's services is very promising.
