H.E. Mr. Amr Abdullah Al Dabbagh


H.E. Mr. Amr Abdullah Al Dabbagh is chairman & CEO of the Jeddah-based Al-Dabbagh Group, a family conglomerate founded in 1962 by His Excellency Abdullah Al-Dabbagh, former Saudi Minister of Agriculture. Employing more than 13,000 people globally through its 57 companies, Al-Dabbagh Group has four strategic business portfolios (Food, Housing, Petroleum & Auto Services, and Packaging) and actively looks to expand its services and capabilities through an incubation portfolio. Through its array of companies, Al-Dabbagh Group has established a manufacturing presence in 35 countries as well as sales, services and projects in more than 60 countries.

H.E. Mr. Al Dabbagh has enjoyed a 30-year career that began in 1984 when he joined Al-Dabbagh Group. During the course of his career, he has served for two terms as governor (with a rank of a minister) of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, two terms on the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce  and two terms on the Makkah Regional Council.

Currently a member of the board of trustees of the Eisenhower Fellowship based in Philadelphia, Mr. Al Dabbagh is also a member of the Cleveland Clinic International Leadership Board in Cleveland and a governor of the London Business School Governing Body.

Mr. Jamal Abdullah Al Dabbagh earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration. Previously a member of the Agricultural Committee for the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, he is currently the general manager of the Dabbagh Group and chairman of the board of the Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Company. In addition, he sits on the board of the National Scientific Company, Advance Petroleum Services Company, Agricultural Development Company and International Project Development Company.

Dr. Ibrahim Hasan Al Madhoun earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals as well as his PhD in civil engineering from the University of Arizona. He served as a general manager and head of the Legal Department in SAVOLA. Earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Bournemouth International College, UK. Currently, he is the Senior Vice President of Saudi Binladin Group, a construction conglomerate, and has direct responsibilities for the management of portfolio of property related investments for the group. Operationally, he is responsible for several key Saudi Government initiatives, such as the development of Ports Development Company (PDC), which is constructing an international level port in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) and the development of the new Mega Airport project of Jeddah (King Abdul Aziz International Airport-KAIA). In addition, Mr. Binladen chairs the Board of Huta Group, which is one of the largest dredging companies in the Middle East.
